Rising 2371 feet in Sutton Vt., Wheeler Mountain offers a scenic half day mountain hike for families who like to scramble. Special attractions: Barren slabs and rocky outcrops, on a low summit with unusual views. Trailhead is located on the west side of Wheeler Mountain road approximately 1/2 mile north of Wheeler Pond .
