County Fairs

Welcome to the tradition of the 140th Orleans County Fair located just off Interstate 91 (exit 25) in the Northeast Kingdom’s scenic Barton, Vermont. This is an old-time agricultural county fair with entertainment and fun for the entire family. Children one year of age to 100 will enjoy the animal exhibits and judging shows; (horse shows, horse pulls, horse harness racing, gymkhana, dairy cattle shows, beef shows, oxen show, ox pulling, milking parlor demonstrations, goat shows, sheep shows, petting zoo, poultry exhibit, rabbit exhibit, alpaca exhibit). Other agricultural displays include; horticulture display, arts & crafts, wool spinning, farm machinery dealer display, antique farm machinery. The evening entertainment comprises of tractor pulling, 4x4 truck pulling, country music star Tracy Byrd and the Demolition Derby. Experience a historic county fair in a picturesque setting snuggled in rural Vermont.
