The Parson's Corner

The corner where the Parson lived
In 1867, at the four corners of Elm Street, Glover Road, Water Street and Church Street, the Congregational Church built their parsonage on the corner facing their church.
After being converted from a private residence to a coffee house in the late 1990s the business stood empty during much of 2006 and 2007. Eddie and Lorie Seadale reopened the restaurant in May of 2007.
The couple are committed to preparing all the food they serve in-house, including such hearty New England favorites as corn chowder, split pea with ham, and turkey vegetable soup. Always home-made are the chili, cole slaw, muffins, bread pudding and a variety of ice cream flavors and home-made hot fudge.

The Parson’s Corner would like your help
We would like to display a collection of wedding photos that took place here in this dining room, which was the Parson’s living room or parlor. If you have, or know someone who might have photos of couples married here we would greatly appreciate copies to add to our collection.
