Vermont Balsam Christmas Wreaths and Garlands
Balsam fir is the traditional New England Christmas evergreen. It has a fresh forest fragrance and a deep green color. The combination of native white cedar and white pine creates a feathery-lacy texture and has its distinct scent. Both types have the long-lasting quality desirable in Christmas greens. However, we recommend balsam for outdoor use, and cedar-pine for indoor use because it does not shed in a heated room.
